Formal and informal appeals
Occasionally a technical appeal may be made against a decision by us, concerning the enforcement of fire safety legislation. Initially this will we be of an informal nature, but if not resolved there is a formal legal procedure to be followed. The results of both informal and formal appeals are recorded and are shown below.

Complaints against enforcement decisions
Whilst it is considered to be a very rare event, should a person wish to complain about the way an enforcement decision has been taken, as opposed to a technical disagreement.
